Here at SPCC, we believe that ministry must reach far beyond our walls. We are called by God to “go out into all the world,” letting people know about the love and saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also believe that we are called to serve our community, region, nation, and world.

We reach out to meet crisis needs, such as disaster relief for New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and Haiti after the recent devastation there. Our missions outreach also includes funding ongoing efforts to spread the Gospel, in areas such as Haiti, Lebanon, and Egypt. We work in cooperation with Global Missions of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) to obtain maximum impact for our mission dollars and the highest level of fiscal integrity and oversight.

On a physical level, Sunset Park Community Church sponsors work camps to ministry areas and supports individuals in our church in their mission efforts.

Personally, folks at SPCC reach out in support of ministries including the Gideons, the Columbia Pregnancy Center, the Columbia Pacific Food Bank, the St. Helens Senior Center, Children of Promise Child Sponsorship Program, Operation Christmas Child, Youth For Christ, Hope Hill Children’s Home, and many others.
